It doesn’t matter who wins as long as you have fun as a family. OK! I’m lying a bit. I kept coming in second in my races and my son kept winning in his races and we are both super competitive. I was all smiles but my son had a bigger smile knowing he came in first while I came in second.
All jokes aside we had a blast at K1 Speed and the karts are super fast and smooth. They have two different types of speeds, one for Juniors and one for Adults. Both were a great speed for a fun thrill. The staff was amazing and helped us along the way with all our needs. We had to register in the beginning which didn’t take that long and then we got a little demonstration before we were able to suit up for our race.
We came a little early as the have a diner which we ended up getting some great food. We had 3 races which were about 12 laps per race so it was spread out pretty well so the food helped in between races.
K1 Speed is great for everyone. You can just enjoy a day of fun or if you’re really into it you can join their circuit and race to compete. My kids had so much fun they are now interested in the Karting Academy which will get more in depth in Go Karting. Me and the wifey like to come on Thursdays for the Adults only glow in the dark night.
